You have a great talent and sensibility! Good realism with samples. Many hours of work certainly...What libraries, reverb do you use? Have a look on my website too : http://www.anthonysylvestre.com |

i really appreciate listening to your works, & like d-bakewell, may i ask how you began your journey as a composer? how long have you been composing (i/c non-professionally), and what kind of resources have you found useful? i especially love "the eve of battle"...do you have any advice on how to achieve that effect (specific percussion instruments etc.)? by the way, by williams in your list of influences, did you mean john williams, or harry gregson-williams, or another williams entirely? i find some of your works (the eve of battle, special forces)--the use of percussion, voice, strings/brass therin--reminiscent of a mixture between h.g. williams in prince caspian and howard shore in lord of the rings, whilst some of your tonal & harp effects (a tribute to michael billings--the beginning) are slightly more like john williams (across the stars). overall though, definitely howard shore.^^ |

I really enjoy your music, it interests me even more that you are completely self taught. May I ask how you began working your way into the composition industry? |

Just so you know, I now have the first movement of my first symphony up for streaming and sale (I'm not sure how I'll receive any money for it seeing as they never asked me for the email address to my paypal account..but it's set at the price of one dollar, which I think is pretty reasonable for 8 minutes of music. |

Astonishing... Not many people can create music that emotionally affects one so greatly. |

Really great music, you're really talented! 5/5 in my book. Gnocchi and Gravy is my favorite for sure. |
